| Our Leaders Executive Committee for the 2009-2010 Term
Amy Catrett Anderson, President In the past 5 years, Amy faithfully served as an Office Manager at Heritage
United Methodist Church in Enterprise, Alabama. At the present time,
she is gainfully employed with Wiregrass Tax Services (DBA Liberty Tax
Service) in Enterprise, Alabama, in search for another Administrative
position in the AWF Conference. She has served on the Executive Committee
for 2 years as Communications Coordinator and 1 year as Chapter President.
Amy became a Certified Professional United Methodist Church Secretary
at the Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, in July 2008. She remains
to be an active member and volunteer at HUMC. Amy is a full-time mother
of 3 blessings from the Lord; Ethan (9), Keely (8), and Skylar Grace
(3). Most of her extra-curricular time is spent being a homeroom mother
at Rucker Boulevard Elementary, a soccer mom for the YMCA Black Hawks,
and a Brownie Girl Scout Leader, Troop # 9052. Amy continues to support
the AWF Chapter PAUMCS with service, prayer, and love.
Twyla German-Lewis, Vice PresidentTwyla joined PAUMCS in 2007
and was certified in 2008. She is the Executive Assistant at the Ozark
United Methodist Church. She has enjoyed working in varied fields such
as Pain Management, Emergency Room and becoming a Certified Pharmacy
Technician. She has two beautiful girls and a great husband. She enjoys
spending time with them, traveling, outdoor activities, sports and reading.
She is also a Stephen Minister, she believes her job and the role of
a Stephen Minister has been a blessing to her.
Mary Beth Brackin, Recording SecretaryMary Beth is the Office Administrator
for Greystone UMC, formerly Lafayette Street UMC and a member for over
21 years. She is married to Allen Brackin, Fire Sgt. for the Dothan
Fire Dept., for almost 21 years; two sons-Michael & Matthew; 1 daughter-in-law-Sarah;
2 grandsons-Mason & Joshua (ages 4 & 6 months). Oldest son,
who is married, is a Sgt. in the USMC and is stationed in Twentynine
Palms, CA. Matthew is in the 10th grade at Ashford Academy.
Jorie Welch, Membership Secretary Jorie has served at Frazer Memorial United Methodist Church in the Life Care Ministries Department since 2005, she also joined PAUMCS that same year.
Heather Cohen, Treasurer Heather was born in Selma, Alabama,
to an Air Force Officer and his wife. Soon after, her Dad finished flight
school and they moved to California. Moving is a theme repeated throughout her life. She graduated high school at AFCENT International School in Brunssum,
Netherlands and went on to Pensacola, Florida to attend the University
of West Florida. Soon after arriving in Pensacola, She met her future husband,
Barry. They dated for 4 1/2 years before getting married. A week after their honeymoon he left for basic training with the Army. He served in
the Army for 12 years. His last duty station brought them to Ft Rucker,
Alabama. They decided it was time to get out of the Army, so, they bought
a house in Ozark and settled down here with their four year old daughter,
Kayla. Heather started working for the First United Methodist Church of Ozark
in 2008 and has really enjoyed this environment and her co-workers.
Soon after starting her employment, she was introduced to PAUMCS and have
found it to be a valuable resource for her new occupation.
Debbie Sullivan, HistorianDebbie has served as Secretary
at Brundidge United Methodist Church since July 2006, she joined PAUMCS
in 2007. She recently married in March 2009 to Mike, she has one daughter-Meagan
and one son-Taylor. She enjoys cooking, reading and walking her dog
Chloe.
Sarah Marsh, Communications Chairperson Sarah has served at Ashford United Methodist Church for 3 years where she is the Administrative Assistant. She has two boys, James,10, and Billy,16. She has been married to her best friend, Darin for almost 12 years. Sarah enjoys spending time with her family, reading, Geocaching and surfing the net.
