| Scholarships Standing Rules
The Laura J. Hughes Scholarship Fund is established and maintained solely for the purpose of granting financial aid to the those attending an Annual Workshop of the Alabama-West Florida (AWF) Conference PAUMCS. Members of the AWF Chapter submitting proper application to attend an Annual Workshop of the AWF PAUMCS will be given preference. Other applicants shall be considered as funds are available.
2. Financial aid to any one individual shall be granted only once in two years.
3. Deadline for applying for scholarship shall be the same date as the early registration date for the Annual Workshop.
4. Financial aid shall be granted on the first come, first served basis using the postal postmark as verification and limited to four scholarship per year. Applicants may e-mail or use the United States Postal Service for submitting an application.
5. Amount of financial aid shall not exceed fifty percent of the registration fee for the Annual Workshop.
6. Anyone who receives budgeted Continuing Education support from their employer is not eligible.
